About a mile north of the Needleton stop, a northbound train passes under us at Watertank Hill.

Resting on the Colorado Trail, we watched a couple D&S trains go by just north of the Elk Creek stop. We then hiked back up out of the Animas River gorge to our cars at Molas Pass.
