A new Dead Line has been formed at Portola, California. The small UP yard is on the former Western Pacific line through the High Sierras. The line is either C40-8 or SD60 engines.

An BNSF SD60M in the old BN green paint scheme holds the main at Westwood in Northern California. A Mow work train has dropped ties along the track and the SD60M is waiting on the green light.

F40FH sits Idling at the old Santa Fe station in front of the El Tovar Hotel at the Grand Canyon. The F40FH was restored from an AMTK F40PHR to freight locomotive spec and renamed a F40FH.
