With 3 Dash 9s for power (the 3rd, out of sight, mid train), M303 struggles out of Gainford on the Edson Sub. CN 2200 was CN's first distributed power capable unit on the roster.
Built by Pullman Standard and painted in its current owners livery (well - old livery!), IC 800413 ("Great Lakes") brings up the markers of train P617 at Gainford.
An interesting lashup whips around the curve at the east end of Gainford with train Q198 in tow. CN C40-8W 2145, BCOL C40-8M 4606, CN SD60F 5515 and BCOL C44-9W 4649 provide the power.
