While passing through Alturas on a freight train, I found the SP 3818 still in its Black Widow scheme, long after the scarlet and gray had become standard. This was shot with Agfachrome.

The southbound Lake County local tied up just north of the Alturas Yard Limits with loads of Perelite and one centerbeam of lumber.
