A trio of IC SD70 begins to exit the Mainline of Mid-America for The J at Matteson as it continues its trip to Kirk Yard.
With CN's Wisconsin Central heritage unit in charge, Q117 does the loop at Matteson as it makes its way off the CN Chicago Sub (former IC) and onto the former EJ&E, now the CN Matteson Sub.
IC SD70 1027 leads CN L536 south onto the connection at Matteson.
CN L536 with six IC SD70's rolls through Matteson prior to getting on the former EJ&E on its trek to Kirk Yard. IC 1007, 1012, 1027, 1009, 1003, and 1000 make up the consist.
M395 awaits a recrew in Matteson with a BC Rail C40-8M on the point.
CN SD40-2W 5258 leads a wild consist on L536, about to enter the former IC and head north at Matteson. The railroad park overlooking the connection can be seen to the left and above the lead unit.

A former BN executive MAC leads a coal train south onto the connection to the former J in Matteson. It will then proceed east to Griffith and eventually towards Michigan.
L515 heads south through the control point known as Swede. Bound for Kirk Yard, IC 6250 and CN 5281 are in charge as they utilize the connection to the former EJ&E Eastern Subdivision.

CN SD60F 5545 is still kicking as it leads the L517 onto the Chicago Sub to begin the short trip to Markham Yard. Two of these units (that I know of) remain that aren't stored.
