Two GE's create their own blizzard as they bring train 290 down a slight hill between Forada and Glenwood.
This is the 2nd trio of SD40's I've caught on the CP in as many days. Here, three bring the 490 into Glenwood yard past the siding at Forada.
The setting sun kisses the flanks of two Soo Line veterans as they approach Forada with train 290.
After a long wait in the siding for the tardy 290, a frustrated crew are back underway at WSS Forada.
Just less than 10 miles into their trip to Thief River Falls, a westbound manifest takes the siding to let the 290 pass on the main.
