Shadowed by the buildings, BNSF 9845 leads a train of 88 coal empties thru the City if Hibbing, MN on a clear and cold Sunday afternoon.
The tail end of a loaded taconite train fresh from Keetac in Keewatin moves down BNSF's heavily forested and remote Casco Sub in northeastern Minnesota.
4410 pushes its' way into Hibbing Taconites perimeter. A haul road demanded this tunnel/bridge. The only problem is that small pile of dirt blocking the rear trucks.
These BN engines haven't been to the paint shop yet as they work pulling an ore train through Hibbing, Minnesota, in August of 1976.
