Sheltam no.4 (ex-SAR class 34-200, EMD 1971) loading ore from the bins at Cooke 3 shaft. From here this train will run 12km (8 miles) to Cooke Reduction Plant.
Sheltam no.5 is a 32-year old U26C which still puts in a full days work on the Rand Uranium railway at Randfontein, seen here departing Millsite with another load of hoppers for Cooke Plant.
Running long hood forward on this trip, Sheltam no.5 kicks up dust as it heads back up to Millsite from Cooke Plant with empty hoppers which will be exchanged for full ones.
