SP 227 along with UP 8210, CNW 8810 work east with coal loads as they ascend Walker Hill near East Walker, WY.

BN on the coal line once meant a steady stream of C30-7's and SD40-2's. A change over was occurring when I shot this train in June of 1998 and the trailing SD60M was a prelude of things to come. B... (more)

UP 8141 leads 6802 and 8102 east up Walker hill with coal loads. Things had changed quite a bit on UP by this time. These dirty fairly new units would have been washed a decade earlier.
