The overnight Melbourne to Sydney XPT service refuels on platform 1. The lead power car wears a special livery to celebrate the Centenary of Federation (1901-2001).

With the sun finally poking through the morning clouds, Sydney bound XPT NT32 races towards Kyogle loop, where LVRs 3237 waits for the cross before continuing on with the journey to Loadstone.
