The first steam train in Winter Garden in 50 plus years, departs Tavares on it's historic journey at 11:05. This view taken from Wooten Park which has been extensively rebuilt.
Arriving at Winter Garden, the first steam locomotive here in 50 + years slowly walks to the end of rail. Was not known if trains would ever return here, but did today and under steam.
It was a party as the first steam train to stand in Winter Garden in 50 plus years drew out a crowd. Cars stopped, offices emptied out as people heard the whistle.
