Great Northern E7(A) 503 leads a five car train The Badger, leaving Saint Paul Station for Duluth, Minnesota in July 1961. Photo from my collection, photographer Dick Stoner.
It seems unusual to see a CP train with so much power on the head end these days, but today they're going "conventional" as they pass the Gerdau switcher.
The Calgary to St. Paul manifest is almost to it's termination point here at Dayton's Bluff. The mix of power on this was neat, although I almost wish the consist was flipped.
