The railroad was abandoned but still in place. The track looked pretty good but this was the motive power, sadly derelict by the former best customer, apparently.

After an eight month absence due to repairs from the flood of 2008, Mid-Continent #7 leads a revenue train during Snow Train, 2009.
The day after Christmas finds this Alco awaiting the next rock train from CSX. Its not everyday you can find an S1, let alone in good looking paint.
