Harken back.... The NRHS Convention leads off with an excursion from Scranton to Sunbury. The requested power--D&H Geep 38's--has arrived at Steamtown in time for the occasion.

D&H power stops for fuel at Hornell. That EL truck was the vehicle the fueling guy used to go back and forth from the crew change area to the fuel racks.

A Westbound D&H freight exits the tunnel with a colorful mix of power. A clean ligtning stripe leads a unit in the blue scheme and an ex LV red unit.

For a few years, starting in April 1976, D&H trains would get fuel at Hornell. The power on Apollo-1 is on the main as the units get a drink next to the old EL engine facility.

Apollo 1 stops at Hornell for a crew change. The D&H got 3 SD-45s back from the EL before Conrail started and just repainted the maroon stripe & EL logo blue.
