A busy Sunday morning at Selkirk with lots of power shuffling around.
A beautiful morning to be heading south along the Hudson.
After checking the signal which was dark, I was surprised to see 564's headlight in the distance.
CSX SD40-2s 8067 and 8076 head down the Hudson with Auto Racks. Earlier this month, 8067 was working along the banks of another river--the Mississippi in Minnesota.
Late afternoon action at Selkirk. SD40-2 and MT-6 slug set work the hump. The MT-6 slug was rebuilt from an ALCO RSD-12.
Lone Geep returns over the span. Usually a string of three or four six axled diesels drag long trains over the bridge. This local snuck through amid a break in the action.
Flying the flag for Veteran's Day. To all fellow vets, Thanks for your service! It is nice to see visiting power on the River Line again.
