EMD F3 takes a rest in the sun at the Steamtown shops in Scranton, Pa. The unit is being repainted fron CNJ colors to the DL&W freight scheme.

The Anthracite Railroads Historical Society, Inc. F-3 being changed from the Central Railway of New Jersey to the Lackawanna. Looks great!

PHOEBE SNOW is stopped at the Blairstown station behind Lackawanna's first E8 unit. This engine and 811 had been EMD demonstrators in the DL&W color scheme with the GM shield on the nose.

The famous DL&W Belford 99 is stored in Derby by MMA. The inside has been burned.

An eastbound mid-day passenger train on the DL&W Boonton Line has a nice mix of equipment.

Lackawanna F3 A-B-B-A units lead an eastbound freight past the passenger station. Three color schemes are represented, the trailing A unit is in solid gray which was thankfully not later adapted.
