Thats the engineer standing in the door way of the caboose. The train was running backwards and he was driving fom there.

This caboose had recently seen a lot of graffiti, and now seems to have gotten an on-site repaint.

This mountain goat caboose was on the end of a Burlington Northern train pulled by an SD-9 in Great Northern paint on the Duluth, Missabe & Iron Range mainline.

I don't know how this managed to avoid the paint shop for 20 some years, but it's sure good to see it still in service!
