The GM plant at Janesville gets switched simultaneously by Milwaukee and CNW jobs in happier times. GM ended production at this plant, a community fixture since the 1920's, by the end of 2008.

The "B" train arrives from Proviso with autoparts. GM has announced it is closing the Janesville plant in 2010.

Re-crewed, this CP detour departs Janesville for Chicago over the Harvard sub into the evening.

The water has flooded out of its banks but this bridge is high and dry as a UP-led CP detour rolls down the hill. The train came off the WSOR and will take the UP Harvard sub into Chicago.
