WP F7 918-D makes her debut run on Fourth of July, 2005 after a 22 year (on and off) restoration.
After many years of restortation work, the WP 918D is finally ready to start hauling passengers on the Niles Canyon Ry. In this shot the locomotive was being delivered on a UP Local.
SP 5623 at the wigwag just west of Brightside. This was the first time this engine has been used by the PLA for passenger trains in Niles Canyon.
