One of the daily hot Z trains pulls away from a flashing yellow signal after the 2nd Sounder passes. There is a 10mph restriction going though MP 17.8 (the switch?) today.
Rain slowly trickles down on the waterfront town of Edmonds with the final northbound Sounder slowly rolls north. A smart, but wimpy by Seattle standards, uses an umbrella to fight the water.
Alas, time and the intense western sun seem to have done their worst to this example of the "world's best diesel paint scheme." At least the paint is still intact, unlike that on another warbonne... (more)
