Passing the HN tower and a track maintainer.....who barely even gave this train a second look.

Thankfully the train was stopped in the station.......but it could have been unfortunate. People cut in front of trains every day. I am glad that I have not witnessed a collision yet. It might be... (more)

A freshly painted road slug set sits on the ready track at the old RF&P diesel shop along with a pair of SD-40-2s. A treat for the eyes with no widecabs around!

A brilliant spring day prompted us to head south to find some action on the old N&W west of Petersburg. Eastbounds were plentiful, but only a few Westbounds to harness the sunlight!

DM&IR 192 and SOO 700 shove 83 empty storage hoppers on to the main line north of Marble. They'll pull 40 of them back south after they clear the switch and leave 43 of them north of a road cross... (more)
