In 1993, it was common to see SP GP35's in service between Los Angeles and West Colton, but it was really something to catch a set of 6 running on an eastbound hauler at Walnut.

With the moon the only thing in the perfect blue sky, a westbound Santa Fe stack train races toward the sunset near McCartys. An SD45B is 2nd in the consist.
