SP 4449 leaves the Minneapolis skyline in a cloud of steam and smoke. The train is just under way as they embark on the last trip of the weekend down the Mississippi River.

It's been several months since CP has taken over, but blue and yellow is still holding strong as the daily Kansas City-St. Paul manifest rolls on at Maple Springs.

The clouds parted nicely just in time as SP 4449 raced on towards Red Wing with the fall colors excursion train held by the "Friends of 261."

LTB84 rolls past downtown with cars for Valley Park. It's hard not to want to work the Robert Street Lift bridge into the shot, even when they're not using it.

CP 891 pulls down to Roseport behind a pair of former CNW SD60's. I imagine these two traveled these rails several times back in the day.

Three SD40-2's lead the BNCP Transfer west at Seventh Street with 93 cars for Northtown. This is a busy location as both the St. Paul and Midway Subs come to together.

A pair of CSX units lead a BNSF ethanol train past CP's Pigseye Yard.

Running right on time, AMTK 8 rolls off the hill into downtown Saint Paul with the usual.

MNNR 2002 has just brought 30 cars down to the grain mills along Hiawatha Avenue and is in the process of splitting them up to the various industries.

Job 17 heads across the Mississippi River with 30 cars for the grain elevators along Hiawatha Avenue.
