Four GE's with a lot of history lead this D&H train.The MEC unit started life as a Rock Island,plus there are two ex Penn Central/Conrail U-30-B's and a D&H original.

The four stall engine house was used for the helper engines up Crawford Notch.

YR-1 passes the ancient ball signals guarding the crossing with the B&M. The higher ball indicates a clear or proceed indication, hence the RR term "highball".

Four 'Baby Boats' #404,405,406 & 407 head east towards Crawford Notch.
