The Nevada Northern Railway ten wheeler #40 has just arrived at the Ely station with a mixed train. On the right, the Alco RS-2 #105 is busy with some shunting in the station.
A layer of fresh snow fallen overnight covers the Nevada desert. The silense of the place is only briefly broken by the passage of this mixed train hauled by the ten wheeler #40.
