What another sunny day in July, impossible you say, apparently not this summer. An 8000' train off the barge at Whittier is northbound at Beluga on a non-rainy July afternoon.

An empty NB coal train travers the curves along the shores of Turnagain Arm en-route to Anchorage where they will change crews and continue north to Healy for another load.

The Denali Explorer has dropped all the cruise passengers at the Denali Park depot and will run empty, with the exception of on board staff, the rest of the way to Fairbanks.
