On April 9, 2016, an eastbound Union Pacific loaded oil train pops out of Tunnel 1 into a small pocket of sunshine (literally) on a gorgeous spring afternoon in Coal Creek Canyon.
After meeting the westbound California Zephyr up at Crescent Siding, FXE 4691 emerges out of Tunnel One and starts the descent into Coal Creek Canyon on December 30th, 2017.
