SOO 6017 brings a train out of the yard and past Cut-Off tower in November of 1987. The train is on the ex-Milwaukee Road mainline thru it's hometown of Milwaukee, WI.
Freshly painted MILW SD40-2 #142 storms past the tower at Lake on Milwaukee's south side in October of 1984. There is a fairly steep grade here that can bring a heavy freight to its knees.

MILW 171 starts its' assault on Lake Hill on Milwaukee's south side in March of 1985. The location was known as barking dog 2 for a dog that would always be barking if you were nearby.
CNW 4144 is heading to Mitchell yard in Milwaukee, WI with a transfer run from Butler yard in December of 1988. The bridge in the background crosses over the SOO/MILW mainline.
