CN 401 emerges from under the Turcot interchange with a varied lashup consisting of CN 2886, CN 2403, BCOL 4654 & CN 4800.

CN 3136 is the sole power on CN 401 as it rounds a curve. Close to the head end is a loaded rail train.

CN 401 with CN 3040, CN 3811, CN 4760 and CN 4769 is passing under a large signal bridge at Turcot Ouest.

CN 401 with CN 3040, CN 3811, CN 4760 and CN 4769 is passing a long string of parked cars that are on Track 29 of CN's Montreal Sub as it approaches Turcot Ouest.

CN 401 with CN 5706 & CN 2646 is passing Turcot Ouest. At left is CN 305, parked due to the blockade on CN's Kingston Sub which was taking place at the time the photo was taken.

CN 401 has CN 2019, CN 5608 & CN 9410 for power as it approaches Turcot Ouest.

Triple cowls. Triple cowls (BCOL 4605, CN 2430 & BCOL 4616) lead CN 401 over the Lachine Canal.

CN 2610, BCOL 4641, CN 4729 & CN 9618 are the power on CN 401 as it crosses the Lachine Canal.

A pair of BC Rail units (BCOL 4649 & BCOL 4603) are the power on CN 401 as it passes Turcot Ouest. At the head end are 6 intermodal platforms from Rivière-du-Loup.

CN 401 has 4 different EMD models (SD75I CN 5800, SD60 CN 5481, SD70M-2 CN 8893 and GP40-2LW CN 9592) as it heads west through St-Henri.

CN 401 has a pair of SD70M-2's (CN 8008 & CN 8836) as it ducks under a signal bridge at Turcot Ouest as the sun comes at just the right time. Behind the head end autoracks are TankTrain cars.

A part for a Komatsu PC8000 hydraulic excavator heads west on CN 401. This superstructure came from Halifax and is destined for Edmonton.

CN 401 with CN 8008, CN 2888, CN 4799 & CN 4802 heads west through the St-Henri neighbourhood of Montreal.
