Q617 leads a pack of four southbounds through Montgomery, the parade of trains was due to a broken rail. The repair took a few hours and thus southbound trains from the A&WP were stacked up.
An all elephant style GE consist brings Q617 onto the M&M subdivision with an ex-Conrail locomotive leading the charge with its red class lights turned on.
Q617 takes the siding in lovely downtown Georgiana. This town is where Hank Williams Sr. grew up. His childhood home is not far from the tracks.
