Ten years to the day, heritage met heritage. The NS 8114 has not been that clean since. The former NS 1616 is always tis clean.

It's been 10 years since the NS Heritage Fleet made their debut, and most of them are still earning their keep this year, during the 40th anniversary of the modern-day Norfolk Southern.

NS 8114 sits in the middle of the forest, waiting for it's next job out of the Shelton Quarry, which is situated right behind where this photo was taken.
