NS 9912 crawls through Momence due to a 10mph restriction over the diamonds. This was my first train on the NS Kankakee Line in my many attempts. He would meet 31G about 15 miles east of Momence.

A UP SD70M leads an intermodal train north toward Chicago as it crosses the Kankakee River. As usual, the cool power was trailing.

CN SD40u #6026 is still sitting in Momence after getting involved in the wreck last Thanksgiving. Nobody was seriously injured, but I'm sure someone lost their job.
