The fall colors were just starting to pop as R&S GP40 104 powered the B&P southbound freight out of Johnsonburg.

The B&P southbound freight crosses the Clarion River in Johnsonburg behind a pair of SD45's.

The B&P's northbound freight crosses over the A&E and the Clairon River as it arrives in Johnsonburg.

#45 reverses the Johnsonburg local power back into the A&E Sub yard at Johnsonburg to call it a day. In a few hours, the JB-2 crew will start their shift of running the work to St. Marys and back... (more)

Local unit based at the small Johnsonburg yard mainly to switch the papermill in town. As you can see by the lean on the Geep the tracks in the yard have seen better days.

The JB-1 crew makes a reverse move to set in a few box cars at the Domtar Paper Company along the A&E Main Sub.

A steam excursion crosses the Kinzua Viaduct in northern Pennsylvania. The bridge was partially destroyed in 2002 by a tornado. Thanks to my Dad for taking the photo.
