With SD70ACe-T4 3024 and 6870 DPU'd on the rear end. The MNPML made the run form Lakepoint to Erda with surprising speed. I was barely able to get to my second shot.

I had to really hightail it on this one. Eastbounds are down hill through here, and make good time. UP 6660 leads 3046 past the chicken farms in Erda, Utah.

The Roper to Warner (Tooele) to Roper local can result in some big trains. I've heard them tell the dispatcher that they have sometimes 80-100 cars for the return trip.

Cutting it close on the daylight. Union Pacific 8759 and 6922 head westbound, on the western edge of Erda, Utah.

Union Pacific 7527, 6261, 5304. Make there way through Erda, in the Tooele Valley. The climb from Lakepoint to Warner. Can really take the momentum out of these trains.
