Coal and C&O built the town of Logan WV. Not much has changed in 100 years as CSX continues to serve the coal mines. Railroads and mining are still the best paying jobs in the area.
CSX literally offers front door service to it's crews at Peach Creek. All they have to do is step out the office door and on to their engine.
It looks as if most of the crews has marked off from the 07 Labor Day weekend as this was just one of several sets of power parked in the yard.
