A former 1956-built GP9 of N&W heritage still soldiers on, seen here shoving a SBVR freight through downtown Moorefield past a busy local grocery.

I love riding trains and I love taking pictures of them. Sometimes both come together. Thanks to SBVR for a great all day excursion to the festival.

South Branch Valley GP9 #6600 sits outside the company shops in 1993. It would be 15 years before I'd see 6600 again, but the next time it was in beautiful B&O Blue and Grey.
