A Rare RS27 rests at Green Bay and westerners Norwood Yard

The control stand of the GBW 2407, built in May of 1960 as the Santa Fe 841. This unit is operational at IRM.

GBW 321 departs Kewaunee, WI. with a boat train in October of 1988. The train is heading back to Green Bay on a beautiful Fall afternoon. Alas, the line and the Alco's no longer go to Kewaunee.

After a long day crossing the state of Wisconsin, Green Bay & Western’s Winona train heads east from New London in late afternoon sun.

The Green Bay and Western had a small yard in Plover, Wisconsin. There was never any trouble identifying the location of the office there.

GBW 314 heads east near Arcadia, WI in May of 1992. We spent all day chasing this train and it was worth every minute. Just the sound of the 3 Alco's was worth it!
