SMART MoW crews look on as NWP 2009 makes a southbound trip across the relatively new Haystack bascule bridge. The old swing bridge has since been completely removed.
4-6-0 oilfired steamlocomotive # X112 of the Northwestern Pacific Railroad, built by ALCO in 1908. # 112 is the lone survivor of the NWP's 98 steam enignes and last operated in may of 1952.
