Sunrise at McMinville, OR greets The Mac Switcher and Willamette & Pacific #1801 as its seen gathering a cut of cars at Cascade Steel on the north side of town.

Early morning fog begins to lift at McMinnville where the Willamette & Pacific #1801 can usually be found working the Mac Switcher and spotting cars for Cascade Steel on the north side of town.

The Toledo Patch is approaching the Union Pacific mainline after receiving authority to cross over into PNWR's Albany Yard.

The Toledo Patch rolls through Nortons at 10 mph on PNWR's Toledo District.

The Toledo Hauler switches cars in at the interchange with the plant switcher. An eclectic mix of EMD power leads the train.

The climb over Oregon's Coast Range is over as the Toledo Patch rolls through the hamlet of Summit. From here, the rest of the trip eastward to Albany is almost all downhill.

The Toledo Patch passes the Chitwood covered bridge as it rolls eastward to Albany. Just as in Southern Pacific days, the line primarily serves the massive Georgia Pacific pulp mill at Toledo.

Portland & Western 1501 switches cars at the south end of Albany yard. The 69-year old SD7 is one of the oldest locomotives still working regularly in Oregon.
