A former U.S. Navy VO-1000 is painted and lettered as Baldwin Locomotive Works 1200. The locomotive is on display at the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania.

Seaboard Coast Line Baldwin VO-1000, EMD repowered, #101 was built August 1942 as Atlantic Coast Line #12. Unit was later repowered with an EMD 567 1200hp diesel.

The fireball lives on, thanks to the efforts at the Hagerstown Roundhouse Museum. The museum is again hosting its annual Heritage Days event, as of uploading on the coming weekend, May 18-19.
