After being stopped by work crews and letting 204 run around him at SouthFork NS 172 came by Belmont with a SD70ACe leader.
NS 119 has been having the heritage units lately. This one had the conrail heritage unit. He even had a XCONRAIL D8 leading this one 8314 is the first one that NS owns.
NS 119 comes past Belmont on a rather wet Easter Sunday. He had the Original Norfolk Southern leading a NS D9 and a CSX Locomotive.

So back in October I took a trip to the GSMR and I got to say I like there railroad excursions that they have. Here is GSMR 711 waiting while people board the train.
Sometimes you just get lucky and with the Charlotte airport not to far away you can get a plane in your shot. As 213 passes Belmont a plane fly's over head.
