Empty Coke train heading west to Rosemount's Koch Refinery

In charge of train #800, the INRD SD9043MAC duo rolls through Lake Forest, right on the heels of 276. The sun was being very helpful on this mainly cloudy, fall afternoon.

The sun followed these units to my lens on a mostly cloudy day. The Big MACs haul coke from Roseport, MN south towards Illinois and points south.

A coke train bound for Indiana is looking good skirting Lake Pepin, the purported birthplace of waterskiing.

The delicious INRD Big Macs thunder west as a 281 creeps up on their tail.

CP 800 eases up to the switch at Division Street to enter the BNSF St. Paul Sub. They'll continue east to St. Croix where they'll access the CP River Sub to Chicago.

CP 800 passes downtown St. Paul with a pair of INRD units. The red MAC's have been a common sight in the Twin Cities every few days on coke trains to and from Roseport.
