Another geep but no "bug eyes".

Just another "bug eyed" geep. I'm assuming people taped over that air intake because it fed the heater and was drafty.

These would have looked great in green or silver, maybe, at least, they'd have the logo straight. Nee MP of course.

I think this is the only one of this model ever acquired by the railroad seen here in the dying glimmer of sun at the engine facility.

A couple of oddballs are bringing a transfer cut to CSX, including three SD-50s recently overhauled by VMV. This was a great location.

Former Cotton Belt GP40-2 7273 waits for its new owners to give it a new coat of paint as sets in the yard at Louisville. Paducah & Louisville would also reclass the unit as a GP38-2.

Two of the this model, unique to ICG & PAL, are doing a little switching at the large industrial park in western KY>

LG1 rolls south through Millwood on a beautiful Saturday evening.

LG1 drops down the steep hill coming out of Black Rock. There are plenty of wonderful places to shoot on the north end of the P&L, if you're fortunate enough to find something running before dark.... (more)
