An early Conrail repaint, SD40 6317, leads a Jersey Central GP9 and a patched Erie-Lackawanna SD45 westbound out of Allentown yard. This location is now known as CP Ham.

A classic MRL SD40 leads the Laurel-Missoula manifest. The train was quite usual this day as it had a huge cut of Abrams tanks that can be seen rounding the curve above the cut.
Viewed from the abandoned Western Maryland bridge over the Baltimore & Ohio main line at Rockwood, Pennsylvania, a Western Maryland SD40 gives an eastbound B&O train a shove toward Sand Patch.
