The last 1C01 Travelling Post Office (TPO) from Penzance to Bristol is seen here at Exeter loading mail. Mail trains in the UK are all but a memory now...RIP. Note the homemade headboard by me!
Working top and tail, 73131 and 73133 lead the 1O90 Willesden to Dover Travelling Post Office out of the London suburbs. These trains where mail is sorted en route ended in January 2004.
