Rain slowly trickles down on the waterfront town of Edmonds with the final northbound Sounder slowly rolls north. A smart, but wimpy by Seattle standards, uses an umbrella to fight the water.

Framed by another C44-9W and a newer ES44DC, BNSF 4677 rolls into Interbay with its train greeted by the rain.

BNSF's special yellow swoosh is in town today. A crew member switches it and its consist around the yard to prepare it to clamp onto a manifest and take it west.

The sun is setting on the Palouse. PCC 4204 is stranded between Pullman, WA and Moscow, ID with an axle on the ground.
