Arriving Ft Worth for a crew change

First visit to Texas for the CNW Heritage on a UP engineering special.

The CNW Heritage Unit leads the UP Engineering Special through Kirkwood on an unseasonably warm St. Patrick's Day.

UP SD70ACe 1995, the CNW heritage unit, highballs through La Fox with a westbound baretable train, bound for Global 3.

The CNW trio waits for a crew at Western Ave to shuttle the power back to Global 3.

The crew tied down UP 1995 and CNW 8701 at 7:15 am before heading into the depot on this cold morning.

UP SD70ACe 1995, the CNW heritage engine, and CNW 8701 make a guest appearance at IRM. IRM placed one of the oldest diesels next to 1995 and it definatly shows quite a contrast between eras.

UP 1995 rests along with CNW 8701 on one of the roundhouse leads after being on display for the C&NW Historical Society convention.

The severe weather sirens have just alerted the Altoona area of this thunderstorm that has passed over head. The dark rolling clouds gave way to the bright rays of the sun.
