Today's 187, with 140 cars and just shy of 10,000 tons just got a clear at the P317.9 to indicate that the interlocking with the West Point Route is lined for their movement.

NS 187 rumbles across a bridge originally built by the Central of Georgia. If you look close above the safety marker on the right abutment, you can see the remnants of the old CofG logo.

Signs of future CTC? The Macon siding was built in 2000, and clearly with intentions of having it be upgradeable.

Another bit of the stock at the Bluegrass Railroad, a MU'd doodlebug looking deal, tied to some sister cars used in runs up the former Southern Line.

Another good find in Milner, a former B&O caboose, still in okay condition.

Sitting in Langley's Woodyard, this MoW train awaits the mornings work.

Ohh the irony.... the local crew seems to have been coupling with the quickness. This car was sitting in the house track with orders "Do Not Move". Methinks it'll be scrapped on site.

Waiting under the lights at the west end of the siding, this Dash 9 will be meeting only one eastbound before heading in to Birmingham.

After a long day, and unable to make it back to Montgomery, A746 goes on the law in the weeds at Notasulga. Note the West Point Route whistle post on the left.

On top of Gilliland Crossing, A41 approaches the bridge over Waverly Pkwy, just west of Opelika, which is the longest siding on the entire Central of Georgia, at more than 8,000 ft.
