A little bonding between boater and trainmen as NP westbound tonnage snakes through the canyon looking south towards Yakima

Westbound manifest rolls near Roza dam, knocking down the signal across the Yakima River as seen from old Rte. 97. There's nothing like guardrail railfanning!

Winding down the canyon past some great fishing holes near Roza dam, old Rte. 97 offered a nice view of the NP across the Yakima River.

Action at CNJ's JU interlocking includes Alcos on a Reading manifest, a CNJ switch crew working the siding, and a railfan getting the shot.

A followup view to a shot posted earlier shows UP 4017's hogger leaning out the window looking for any obstructions to getting his train into the yard and finishing his run.
