The 07:00 Hill Job with 50 loads rolls towards Eagle Mills and eventually the dock in Marquette.

A pair of ex-BN U30Cs head light from Eagle Mills to Tilden Mine to retrieve a cut of loads for the dock.

In 1991 2501 was the the last U25C in service on the LS&I with 2500 preserved in Marquette MI.

LS&I RS-3 1608 rests between two RSD-15s one still in ATSF colors while 2 more RSD-15s work the the ore dock. The LS&I kept the RS-3s around mostly to work the Munising branch.

LS&I No. 24 looking *sharp* in fresh paint at the National Railroad Museum. This locomotive was operational into the mid-1970s and once gave rides around the museum's loop track.

Lake Superior & Ishpeming 3004 and 3009 deliver a train of empty cars to the Empire Mine. There's just something surreal about the ore processing facilities here that always makes me feel uneasy.
